Yoga Therapy | Prehab & Recovery | Perinatal Rehab

Who I work with:

  • pregnant and postpartum people who have pain or need guidance on what exercise/movements are safe to do,

  • anyone who has finished PT, but doesn’t yet feel ready to return to their “normal” exercise/movement routines,

  • anyone with chronic/persistent pain that hasn’t been relieved from “traditional” options,

  • anyone who is curious about breathing and how to incorporate breath exercises into their exercise/movement practice,

  • and those who are just looking for a different approach to exercise/movement.

What I believe:

  • Movement is medicine.

  • Wellness is something that is inherently human regardless of your skin color, sexual orientation, gender identity, financial standing, or mental and physical capabilities.

  • Health and wellness are an active endeavor that takes consistency, intention, and curiosity. And curiosity, non-judgement, and self-discovery are key tools when exercising/moving/practicing.

  • “What” you do on this endeavor is far less important than the “when” “how” or “why.” And moreover, physical wellness is only one piece of the pie, and while it can be a great place to start your wellness journey, it (the physical piece) often isn’t the end of the path.

Nourishing gratitude, vitality, and empowerment for all bodies of all shapes, ages, and colors.

I offer inclusive private sessions virtual or in-studio, workshops, and classes in the Upper Valley region of New Hampshire and Vermont.

We are all worthy of wellness and I hope we can anchor our mind, body, spirit and communities with tools of gratitude, vitality, and empowerment.

Erin is one of my favorite instructors - she has a presence that is gentle, grounded, and strong. She is always so proactive about providing modifications, offering helpful tips for at-home practices, and I love how every class incorporates multiple modalities and philosophies of wellness. When I think of a holistic practitioner she immediately comes to mind! Whether you’re a beginner or more experienced, she offers classes that meet you where are with the support you need to grow.

Erin has changed my life. She is deeply knowledgeable about a wide variety of exercises and infinitely adaptable. She has helped me work through each of the issues I’ve had over the years, making my everyday life far more comfortable and active. And, she has a real knack for explaining what she wants me to do in ways that that make them easy to perform; her metaphors are priceless.

I can’t speak highly enough of Erin’s Move and Breathe Better classes. They are a wonderful combination of experiential learning and detailed instruction about the body. The exercises and explorations every week can seem simple to start with, but are often revelatory about fundamental physical processes and structures and how we inhabit them. Erin is an excellent teacher who is passionate about her subject matter; she has a talent for making complex processes understandable and is infinitely patient and thoughtful in response to individual questions. It is amazing to have been the owner of this body for so many decades but (with hindsight) to have known so little about it!
